Easy Baked Meatballs
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian seasoned)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, but delicious)
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
1 small onion, finely diced (or 1 tsp onion powder)
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried parsley)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, onion, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

3. Mix gently with your hands until just combined (don’t overmix or meatballs may be tough).

4. Roll mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch balls and place them evenly on the baking sheet.

5. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through (internal temp 165°F / 74°C).

6. Optional: For extra flavor, broil for 2–3 minutes to brown the tops.


Serving Ideas:
Toss with marinara sauce and serve over spaghetti.
Serve with mashed potatoes and gravy.
Use in subs with melted cheese for meatball sandwiches.
