Taco Pizza Ingredients: 1 (13.8 oz) can refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade) 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey) 1 packet taco seasoning 2/3 cup water 1 (16 oz) can refried beans (warmed for easier spreading) 1–2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese (or cheddar) 1 cup shredded lettuce 1 cup diced tomatoes 1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional) 1/2 cup diced onions (optional) 1/2 cup crushed tortilla chips or Doritos (optional, for crunch) Sour cream, salsa, or guacamole (for topping)
--- Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Roll out pizza dough onto a greased baking sheet or pizza pan. Bake for 8 minutes to firm up the crust slightly.
3. In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain grease, then stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer until thickened.
4. Spread warm refried beans over the partially baked crust.
5. Spoon taco meat evenly over beans.
6. Sprinkle shredded cheese generously on top.
7. Return to oven and bake another 8–10 minutes, until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
9. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, onions, and crushed chips.
10. Slice and serve with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole.
--- ✨ Tips: For extra flavor, brush crust edges with garlic butter before baking. If you like heat, add jalapeños or use spicy taco seasoning. Great way to use leftover taco meat!
