Ingredients:

For the cake:

1. 2 cups all-purpose flour

2. 1 cup granulated sugar

3. 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes

4. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

5. 4 large eggs

6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

7. 1 cup coconut milk


For the creamy frosting:

1. 1 cup cream cheese, softened

2. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

3. 1 cup powdered sugar

4. 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes


Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.

2. Mix flour, sugar, coconut flakes, and salt.

3. Add softened butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and coconut milk. Mix until combined.

4. Divide batter evenly between prepared pans.

5. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

6. For frosting, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add powdered sugar and mix until combined.

7. Stir in unsweetened coconut flakes.

8. Assemble cake by spreading frosting between layers and on top.
