Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 cup fresh spinach (optional)
Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Season the Chicken:
Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Sear the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
Stir in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
Add Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Stir until melted and smooth.
4. Add Spinach (optional):
Stir in spinach and let it wilt in the sauce.
5. Return Chicken:
Add chicken back into the skillet. Spoon sauce over the top and simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
6. Garnish and Serve:
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice.
