Broccoli Salad
Ingredients:
4 cups fresh broccoli florets (bite-sized)
½ cup cooked and crumbled bacon
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
⅓ cup dried cranberries or raisins
¼ cup sunflower seeds or chopped pecans
Dressing:
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar)
1 tbsp sugar (or honey)
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, bacon, cheese, red onion, cranberries, and sunflower seeds.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
3. Pour dressing over the salad and toss until everything is well coated.
4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving (for best flavor).
