Garlic Butter Steak and Potato Foil Packets:
Ingredients
1 ½ lbs steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
1 ½ lbs baby potatoes, halved
3 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
½ cup shredded cheese (optional, for topping)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (or preheat your grill to medium-high heat).
2. In a large bowl, toss the steak pieces and halved potatoes with olive oil, garlic, paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
3. Cut 4 large sheets of aluminum foil (about 12-14 inches each). Divide the steak and potatoes evenly between the foil sheets.
4. Drizzle each packet with melted butter and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
5. Seal the packets by folding the edges over and crimping tightly.
6. Bake or grill:
Oven: Place packets on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until potatoes are tender and steak is cooked to your preference.
Grill: Place foil packets directly on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway.
7. Carefully open the packets (watch out for steam), and if desired, sprinkle with shredded cheese before
