Bacon Wrapped Mozzarella Sticks



Bacon-Wrapped Mozzarella Sticks (Low-Carb)


Ingredients:


12 mozzarella string cheese sticks (low-moisture, part-skim)


12 slices of thin-cut bacon


1 tsp garlic powder


1 tsp smoked paprika


½ tsp black pepper


Optional: sugar-free marinara or ranch for dipping



Instructions:


1. Freeze the cheese sticks for about 30 minutes to an hour so they don’t melt too quickly while baking.



2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a wire rack.



3. Season the bacon with garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.



4. Wrap each cheese stick tightly with a slice of bacon, overlapping slightly to cover the cheese. Secure the ends with toothpicks if needed.



5. Place on baking sheet seam-side down.



6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and cheese is just starting to melt out.



7. Let cool slightly and serve with your favorite low-carb dipping sauce.
