Baked Spaghetti Meatball Casserole
Ingredients:
12 oz spaghetti
1 jar (24 oz) marinara or spaghetti sauce
1 lb frozen (or homemade) cooked meatballs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup sour cream (optional, adds creaminess)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
Olive oil for greasing the dish

Instructions:
1. Cook Spaghetti:
Boil spaghetti in salted water until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Mix Base:
In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, sour cream (if using), half the marinara sauce, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and a little salt & pepper.
3. Layer in Baking Dish:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
Spread half of the spaghetti mixture in the bottom.
Add meatballs over the layer (cut in half if desired).
Pour remaining marinara sauce over meatballs.
Top with remaining spaghetti mixture, then sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the top.
4. Bake:
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Cool & Serve:
Let rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
