Sweet Alabama Pecan Bread
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or an 8x8 for thicker pieces. You can also use a loaf pan.
2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until smooth and combined. Stir in vanilla extract.
3. Add dry ingredients: Add the flour and salt, stirring until just combined. Fold in chopped pecans.
4. Pour into pan: Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
5. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
6. Cool and serve: Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
