Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders


Ingredients:


2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts


1/2 cup brown sugar


1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt


6–8 slices of bacon (enough to wrap each tender)



Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a rack on top (optional but helps crisp the bacon).



2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips or tenders.



3. Season chicken tenders lightly with kosher salt.



4. Wrap each chicken tender with a slice of bacon. If needed, secure the ends with a toothpick.



5. Roll or press each bacon-wrapped tender in the brown sugar to coat evenly. Pat a little extra brown sugar on top if desired.



6. Place tenders on the baking rack or directly on the foil-lined sheet, spaced apart.



7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is crisp. You can broil for the last 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness.



8. Rest for 5 minutes, remove toothpicks if used, and serve warm.
