Air Fryer Honey Butter Garlic Chicken Tenders

  



Ingredients:


1 lb chicken tenders


4 tablespoons butter, melted


3 tablespoons honey


3 cloves garlic, minced


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/2 teaspoon black pepper


1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika


1/2 teaspoon onion powder


1 cup panko breadcrumbs


1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


1/2 cup flour


1 large egg



Instructions:


1. Preheat the Air Fryer – Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and lightly spray the basket with oil.



2. Prepare the Breading Station:


In one bowl, whisk the egg.


In another bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.


In a third bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.




3. Coat the Chicken:


Dredge each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the panko-Parmesan mixture.




4. Air Fry the Chicken:


Arrange the breaded tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.


Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.


Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temp).




5. Make the Honey Butter Garlic Sauce:


In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.


Add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.


Stir in honey and remove from heat.




6. Coat & Serve:


Toss the crispy tenders in the honey butter garlic sauce or drizzle it on top.


Serve immediately and enjoy!
