Cinnamon Roll

 


Cinnamon Roll French Toast Roll-Ups


Ingredients


For the Roll-Ups:

✔ 6 slices of sandwich bread (white or brioche)

✔ 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

✔ 2 tablespoons brown sugar

✔ 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


For the Egg Mixture:

✔ 1 large egg

✔ 3 tablespoons milk

✔ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


For Cooking:

✔ 1 tablespoon butter (for the pan)


For the Glaze (Optional but Recommended!):

✔ 1/2 cup powdered sugar

✔ 1 tablespoon milk

✔ 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions


1️⃣ Prepare the Bread:


Trim the crusts off the bread slices.


Using a rolling pin, flatten each slice.



2️⃣ Make the Filling:


In a small bowl, mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.


Spread a thin layer of the mixture over each flattened slice of bread.


Roll up the bread tightly and set aside.



3️⃣ Prepare the Egg Mixture:


In a shallow dish, whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.



4️⃣ Cook the Roll-Ups:


Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat.


Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, ensuring it's fully coated, then place it in the pan.


Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.



5️⃣ Make the Glaze:


In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.



6️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
