Ingredients:
1 package (16 oz) refrigerated pie crusts (2 crusts)
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup packed brown sugar
4 large eggs
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Prepare the crust: Roll out the pie crusts and press them into the bottom of the pan, overlapping slightly to cover the surface. Press seams together and trim any excess. Poke holes with a fork and bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.
3. Make the filling: In a bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Stir in the chopped pecans.
4. Bake the bars: Pour the pecan mixture over the pre-baked crust and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set.
5. Cool & slice: Let the bars cool completely before slicing into squares or rectangles.
