Sausage Muffins with Bisquick recipe—perfect for breakfast or a snack!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound breakfast sausage (mild or spicy)
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 large eggs
- ¾ cup milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Bisquick, cooked sausage, and cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Pour into the sausage mixture and stir until just combined.
- Spoon the batter evenly into the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then serve warm!
These muffins are great on their own or with a little butter.
