Steak Bites with Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
For the Steak Bites:
1 ½ lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
For the Creamy Mushroom Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
8 oz mushrooms, sliced (cremini or white button)
3 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup beef broth
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Prep the Steak:
Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Sear the Steak:
Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add steak bites in batches (don’t overcrowd), searing for about 1–2 minutes per side for a nice crust. Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter.
Add mushrooms and cook until browned and tender, about 5–6 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
4. Add Creamy Goodness:
Pour in the heavy cream and beef broth. Stir and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Combine & Serve:
Return steak bites to the skillet and coat in the creamy mushroom sauce.
Garnish with chopped parsley.
