🧄🌿 Green Onion Crackers Recipe
🧑🍳 Ingredients:
1½ cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
4 tbsp cold butter, cubed
½ cup finely chopped green onions (scallions)
¼ cup water (approx.)
Sea salt or sesame seeds for topping (optional)
🔥 Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
3. Cut in the cold butter with a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture looks like coarse crumbs.
4. Stir in the green onions.
5. Add water 1 tbsp at a time, stirring until a stiff dough forms.
(You may not need all the water — stop when the dough holds together but isn’t too sticky.)
6. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8-inch thick.
7. Cut into squares or rectangles with a knife or pizza cutter, or use small cookie cutters.
8. Place on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with sea salt or sesame seeds, if desired.
9. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden and crisp.
10. Cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
