Biscuitsand Gravy Hashbrown



 Biscuits & Gravy Hashbrown Casserole


Ingredients:


1 lb breakfast sausage


1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough, cut into quarters


3 cups frozen hashbrowns, thawed


6 large eggs


1/2 cup milk


1 tsp garlic powder


1/2 tsp black pepper


1/2 tsp salt


2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


1 packet country gravy mix (or homemade)


2 cups water (if using packet mix)

Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13" baking dish.



2. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease and set aside.



3. Prepare gravy according to package directions (mix with water, bring to a boil, and stir until thick). Stir in the cooked sausage.



4. Layer biscuits evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.



5. Top with hashbrowns, then pour the sausage gravy over the top.



6. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the casserole.



7. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.



8. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes or until golden and the eggs are fully set in the center.



9. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
