Cheesy, creamy, meaty, and topped with crispy tater tots—what more could you want?
π Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
1 (15 oz) can corn, drained (or 1½ cups frozen corn)
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Optional: 1/2 tsp paprika or chili powder for extra flavor
Optional garnish: green onions or parsley

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13” baking dish.
2. Cook beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until beef is browned. Drain any excess fat. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
3. Mix base:
In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, corn, 1 cup of shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and paprika/chili powder if using.
4. Assemble:
Spread the mixture evenly in the baking dish. Top with frozen tater tots in a single layer.
5. Bake:
Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until tots are golden and casserole is bubbly.
6. Add cheese:
Sprinkle remaining ½ cup of cheese over the top and bake for another 5–10 minutes until melted.
7. Garnish & Serve:
Let it cool slightly. Top with green onions or parsley if desired. Serve and enjoy!
