Crab and Shrimp Seafood Skillet



🦀🦐 Crab & Shrimp Seafood Skillet 

Ingredients: ½ lb medium shrimp, peeled & deveined ½ lb lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained) 3 tbsp butter 3 garlic cloves, minced ½ small onion, finely chopped 1 cup heavy cream (or half & half for lighter) ½ cup chicken or seafood broth ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 tsp Old Bay (or paprika + pinch cayenne) Salt & pepper, to taste 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped Juice of ½ lemon 

(Optional: serve over pasta, rice, or with toasted bread)

Instructions: Prep the seafood: Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt & pepper. Cook shrimp: In a large skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside. Sauté aromatics: In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add onion and garlic, cook until fragrant (about 2 minutes). Make the sauce: Stir in broth, cream, Parmesan, and Old Bay. Let simmer gently 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Add seafood: Stir in crab meat and cooked shrimp. Simmer 2–3 minutes to warm through. Finish: Squeeze lemon juice, sprinkle with parsley, and adjust seasoning. Serving Ideas: Toss with linguine or angel hair pasta 🍝 Spoon over fluffy white rice 🍚 Serve with garlic bread for dipping 🥖 Add spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor 🌿
