Homemade Fudge Brownies



🍫 Homemade Fudge Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional for extra gooeyness)
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.

  2. Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth.

  3. Add eggs & vanilla one at a time, whisking quickly so the eggs don’t scramble.

  4. Fold in flour gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Mix in chocolate chips & nuts if using, for extra richness.

  6. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.

  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until the top is set and a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).

  8. Cool & cut into squares. For extra fudginess, chill in the fridge before slicing.
