🫐 Blueberry Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
3 tbsp granulated sugar
½ tsp salt
½ cup (1 stick) cold butter, cubed
¾ cup milk (or buttermilk for extra flavor)
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries (do not thaw if frozen)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Glaze (optional but delicious):
½ cup powdered sugar
1–2 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
---
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix dry ingredients – In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
3. Cut in butter – Add cold butter cubes and cut into flour with a pastry cutter or fork until mixture looks crumbly.
4. Add milk & blueberries – Stir in milk (or buttermilk) and vanilla until just combined. Gently fold in blueberries. Don’t overmix!
5. Shape biscuits – Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, or lightly flour your hands and shape into 8 round biscuits.
6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until golden brown.
7. Glaze (optional) – Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm biscuits.

✨ Serve warm with butter, honey, or extra glaze. These are like a cross between biscuits and blueberry scones — soft, flaky, and sweet.
