Cajun Chicken



 Jerk Cajun Chicken with Sausage and Penne and Rotini Noodles


Spice up your dinner tonight with this Jerk Cajun Chicken & Sausage Pasta! 🔥🍝 It's the perfect blend of flavors and textures.  


Ingredients:

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-size pieces

- 1 pound spicy sausage, sliced

- 1 tablespoon jerk seasoning

- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

- 1 red bell pepper, sliced

- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

- 1 onion, chopped

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup chicken broth

- 1 cup heavy cream

- 1/2 pound penne noodles

- 1/2 pound rotini noodles

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


Directions:

1. Cook the penne and rotini noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sausage, cooking until browned. Sprinkle jerk and Cajun seasonings over the meat and stir to coat evenly.

3. Add bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.

4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

5. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing well to ensure everything is evenly coated with the sauce.

6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
