Crispy Cabbage Fritters
Ingredients:
500 g cabbage, shredded
2 onions, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 eggs
4 tablespoons flour (60 g)
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Prepare the cabbage:
Finely shred the cabbage and place it in a bowl. Sprinkle with a little salt and let it sit for 5 minutes to soften. Squeeze out excess moisture.
2. Make the batter:
In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, onions, garlic, eggs, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well until everything is coated in the egg-flour mixture.
3. Fry the fritters:
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Take a spoonful of the cabbage mixture and drop it into the pan, pressing slightly to form small patties.
Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
4. Serve:
Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with sour cream, yogurt, or your favorite dipping sauce.
