French Onion Funeral Potatoes
Ingredients:
1 (28–30 oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10.5 oz) can French onion soup
1 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup melted butter
Salt & pepper to taste
For the topping:
2 cups French fried onions (like French’s)
Optional: 1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers or Corn Flakes for extra crunch

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13" baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, sour cream, melted butter, and a pinch of salt & pepper.
3. Stir in shredded hash browns and cheddar cheese until fully combined.
4. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
5. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
6. Sprinkle French fried onions (and crushed crackers if using) evenly over the top.
7. Return to the oven and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
