Pecan Pie Dump Cake 

Ingredients


Pecan Mixture:


2 eggs, lightly beaten


1/2 cup packed brown sugar


1 cup caramel topping


1/2 cup salted caramel topping


1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted


3 cups pecans



Cake Layer:


1 box yellow cake mix


3/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into thin slices

Instructions


1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or spray with nonstick spray.



2. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, brown sugar, both caramel toppings, and melted butter. Stir in the pecans until fully coated.



3. Pour the pecan mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.



4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the pecan layer—do not mix.



5. Top the cake mix with the cold butter slices, spreading them out as evenly as possible to cover most of the surface.



6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly around the edges.



7. Let cool for at least 15–20 minutes before serving. It thickens up as it sits.
