For the Brownies:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
For the Chocolate Frosting:

Pinch of salt
---
🧁 Instructions:
1. Make the Brownies:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or spray with nonstick spray.
3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and cocoa powder until smooth.
4. Add in the sugar, then eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
5. Mix in vanilla.
6. Stir in flour and salt just until combined—don’t overmix.
7. Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
8. Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs (not wet batter).
9. Let brownies cool slightly before frosting—about 10–15 minutes.
2. Make the Frosting:
1. In a medium bowl, mix together butter, milk, cocoa powder, and vanilla.
2. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add a pinch of salt to balance the sweetness.
3. Spread frosting over warm (not hot) brownies.
4. Let set for 20–30 minutes before cutting into squares.

✅ Tips:
These brownies are rich and fudgy, not cakey.
Frosting them while warm gives the classic soft top texture.
Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to 4 days—or freeze for later!
