Oven Baked Pork Ribs (Sweet & Smoky Style)
๐ Ingredients:
2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
½ tsp chili powder or cayenne (optional for heat)
½ cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
๐ช Instructions:
1. Prep the ribs:
Remove the silver skin (thin membrane) from the back of the ribs for better tenderness.
Pat ribs dry with paper towels.
2. Make the rub:
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and chili powder.
3. Season the ribs:
Rub the spice mix generously all over the ribs.
Wrap ribs tightly in foil (meat side up) and place on a baking sheet.
4. Bake:
Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 2.5 to 3 hours until very tender.
5. Add BBQ Sauce:
Unwrap ribs and brush BBQ sauce over the top.
