Ultimate Double Cheeseburger Pizza Stack
Ingredients:
For the Burger Patties:
4 lbs ground beef
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for structure)
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
For the Stack:
3 large frozen or fresh cheese pizzas (your favorite brand or homemade)
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup dill pickles, sliced
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
1–2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
Shredded lettuce (optional, for serving)
Ketchup, mustard, burger sauce, or mayo (optional)
---
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Make the burger patties:
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs (if using), and seasonings. Mix until just combined—don’t overwork. Divide into 3 large equal portions and shape into round patties roughly the size of your pizzas.
3. Cook the patties:
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Sear each patty for 3–4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through (or bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes on a sheet pan). Drain excess grease.
4. Prepare the stack:
Place one cooked cheese pizza on a large baking sheet or oven-safe platter. Top with 1 burger patty, cheddar/mozzarella cheese blend, pickles, onions, and tomato slices.
5. Repeat layers:
Add the second pizza on top, followed by the second burger patty and toppings. Repeat once more with the final pizza and burger patty.
6. Final top layer:
Sprinkle remaining cheese over the very top. If desired, drizzle with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce.
7. Bake the entire stack at 375°F for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Cool slightly, then slice like a cake! Serve with shredded lettuce and extra burger sauce if desired.
Tips:
Use a serrated knife or pizza cutter to make clean slices.
You can substitute turkey or plant-based ground “meat” to make it lighter.
Great for game day, parties, or when you can’t decide between pizza and burgers!
