Melt-in-Your-Mouth 2-Ingredient Biscuits—so simple yet incredibly soft and fluffy!
Ingredients:
2 cups White Lily self-rising flour
1 cup heavy whipping cream
Melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
2. Mix dough: In a large bowl, combine the self-rising flour and heavy whipping cream. Stir until just combined—do not overmix.
3. Pat out & cut: Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Gently pat (not roll) it out to about ½-inch thickness. Cut with a biscuit cutter or a floured glass.
4. Prepare the skillet: Butter a flat iron skillet (or a baking sheet). Place biscuits close together for soft sides or spaced apart for crispy edges.
5. Bake: Place in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
6. Brush with butter: As soon as they come out, brush with melted butter for that extra melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
7. Enjoy! Serve warm with honey, jam, or sausage gravy.
