Chicken Casserole

 


Hashbrown Chicken Casserole—creamy, cheesy, 


Ingredients:


2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced


1 (30 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns, thawed


1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup


1 (8 oz) container sour cream


2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


½ cup milk


½ teaspoon garlic powder


½ teaspoon onion powder


½ teaspoon black pepper


1 teaspoon salt


1 cup crushed Ritz crackers or cornflakes (for topping)


3 tablespoons butter, melted



Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.



2. Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine hashbrowns, cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.



3. Assemble the casserole: Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.



4. Add topping: Mix crushed crackers (or cornflakes) with melted butter and sprinkle over the top.



5. Bake: Place in the oven and bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.



6. Serve & enjoy! Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
