Beef Stir-Fry with Rice
Ingredients
Beef (sliced thinly, such as flank steak or sirloin)
Bell peppers (various colors, sliced)
Onion (sliced)
Soy sauce
Garlic (minced)
Ginger (minced)
Cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
Vegetable oil (for cooking)
Cooked rice (for serving)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
Slice the beef and vegetables.
Mince the garlic and ginger.
In a bowl, combine beef with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 15-30 minutes.
In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until they are tender-crisp. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add more oil if needed, and increase the heat.
Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned and cooked through.
Return the vegetables to the pan, mix well with the beef.
If desired, add a mixture of cornstarch and water to thicken the sauce. Stir to combine.
Serve and enjoy!
